Aperture vs. Shutter

What is Aperture? Aperture is the diameter of the lens opening and is usually controlled by an iris. The larger the diameter of the aperture is, the more light reaches the image sensor.

What is Shutter Speed? Shutter speed is the ability of a camera to take multiple frame shots in a short amount of time. Which allows the camera to capture more images of a moving object.

How Do you shoot in each mode on your camera? By rotated the the switch located at the top right of the camera. Switch the camera to the 'A' for aperture and to the 'S' for shutter.

This photo appeals to me because it's my favorite style of photography. I love how the colors seem to be flowing through the streets and the people appear to be at a stand still. I found this picture on Flickr.com. I would definitely like to recreate this picture simply because it is my favorite style.

This appeals to me because it looks cool how the woman is floating in the air and baking without using her hands. It's a very creative idea. I located this picture on Flickr.com. I would like to recreate this picture because it's an interesting and funny style of photography. It will challenge my photoshop skills.
